Thankfully, there is a bill in Congress called the Employee Rights Act, which will extend protections to workers in the private sector, guaranteeing that they can stop their dues money from going toward political purposes they don’t support. The Employee Rights Act will also protect the secret ballot instead of allowing “card check” style elections where voters can be coerced.
