We urgently need your help.  The courageous County Clerk of  San Diego, Ernie Dronenburg, filed a petition with the California Supreme Court seeking clarification on the legal effect of Prop. 8.  Although he is only doing his duty as the public official responsible for carrying out the law with respect to marriage in San Diego, he has come under fierce attack.  Special interests that oppose Prop. 8 are seeking to bring heavy political pressure to bear to force Ernie to drop the case.  Therefore, we need you to immediately reach out to the San Diego County Board of Supervisors to support Ernie Dronenburg in this lawsuit and to urge him not to withdraw it.  The rule of law requires no less.  Thank you for your prompt attention to this vitally important matter.
