Support Senators that Stood Up for Religious Freedom

by ActRight Community in Family Research Council

Many liberal and pro-abortion groups are pressuring Senators who voted to support Senator Roy Blunt's (R-Mo.) amendment to protect religious freedom. While the Blunt amendment failed -- it was "tabled" by a vote of 51-48 -- the amendment did garner important support: only one Republican voted against it, while three Democrats voted for it.

We expect the House to take up a similar proposal to protect religious liberties, which if passed would send a pro-religious freedom anti-Government discrimination bill back to the Senate. Liberals fear another vote and are pressuring Senators such as Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski (R) with false accusations about women's health. Help us let the Senators who voted to support the Blunt amendment know that you support their defense of religious liberties. Senators need to hear your support and thanks.
