As an American i support this 100%! Trump Cuts Foreign Aid to El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras Over Caravans After earlier threatening to end foreign aid to three Central American countries whose citizens make up a large percentage of the caravans overwhelming U.S. border security services, on Friday President Trump directed State Department Secretary Mike Pompeo to cut direct aid to the three countries making up the Northern Triangle: El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. At stake is about $500 million in aid. Said the State Department: “At the Secretary’s instructions we are carrying out the President’s direction and ending FY 2017 and FY 2018 foreign assistance programs for the Northern Triangle.” It noted that it would coordinate these actions with Congress. The announcement followed a tweet from the president that morning: “It would be very easy to fix our weak and very stupid Democrat inspired immigration laws. In less than one hour, and then a vote, the problem would be solved. But the Dems don’t care about the crime, they don’t want any victory for Trump and the Republicans even if good for USA!” The decision to pull the plug was made easier by news from Mexican Interior Secretary Olga Sánchez Cordero on Wednesday that “a new caravan is forming in Honduras, that they’re calling ‘the mother of all caravans,’ and they are thinking it could have more than 20,000 people.” https://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/immigration/item/31891-trump-cuts-foreign-aid-to-el-salvador-guatemala-honduras-over-caravans

Just in: Sri Lanka bans the burqa!

Submitted 5 years ago by ActRight Community

Sri Lanka bans burqa after investigation reveals a large number of Muslim women involved in Easter Sunday terror bombings that killed and injured hundreds of Christians. From indiatoday.in Almost a week after a series of bomb blasts ripped through three Sri Lankan cities, government authorities on Sunday ordered a complete prohibition on all types of face covers including burqas. The decision to ban all types of burqas and face covers was approved by Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena after several bombs ripped through the island nation on April 21. The information was conveyed late on Sunday via an official press release. The release said: "Any form of face covering that will hinder the identification of a person is banned under emergency regulations." "A decision has been taken by the president to ban all forms of face covering that will hinder easy identification under emergency regulations," it added. The move to ban face covers, burqas and masks comes after a Sri Lankan parliamentarian submitted a private members' motion for the same. In fact, an organisation of Muslim clerics named All Cetlon Jamiyyathul Ulama also asked women to avoid wearing a burqa/niqab in order to help security forces.
