Bill and Hillary Clinton are coming under fire today after State Department documents showed that officials rubber-stamped the former president’s expansive and sometimes high-priced overseas speaking engagements while his wife was in charge of foreign policy with many of those nations. “These documents are a bombshell and show how the Clintons turned the State Department into a racket to line their own pockets,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. Judicial Watch and the Washington Examiner teamed to seek and publish those documents today. “How the Obama State Department waived hundreds of ethical conflicts that allowed the Clintons and their businesses to accept money from foreign entities and corporations seeking influence boggles the mind,” said Fitton, adding, “That former President Clinton trotted the globe collecting huge speaking fees while his wife presided over U.S. foreign policy is an outrage.

After months of little separation, Scott Walker has pulled ahead of a crowded 2016 Republican presidential field. With 25 percent of Republican primary voters’ support, the Wisconsin governor leads the pack, a new Public Policy Polling national survey has found. Ben Carson places second, with 18 percent, followed by former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush with 17 percent and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee with 10 percent. No other potential candidate — including New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul — garnered more than five percent. Walker’s momentum has considerably grown since the January poll, in which he stood at just 11 percent. A key to this gain is his growing appeal to the conservative side of the Republican Party. Among “very conservative” voters, he leads Carson 37 percent to 19 percent, followed by 12 percent for Bush and 11 percent for Huckabee.
