New York City underwater? Gas over $9 a gallon? A carton of milk costs almost $13? Welcome to June 12,  2015. At least those were the wildly-inaccurate predictions made by ABC News exactly seven years ago. Appearing on Good Morning America in 2008, Bob Woodruff hyped Earth 2100, a special that pushed apocalyptic predictions of the then-futuristic 2015.

Most importantly about this is that the vote passed with less than a majority of the full House of Representatives. Boehner was only able to--on a purely procedural vote--obtain 217, rather than the 218 votes for a majority, votes for the rule. It passed the House 217-212.

President Obama wants to “diversify” wealthy neighborhoods in America, and his administration plans to to force affluent communities to accept affordable housing, such as Section 8. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is set to release new regulations that would set aside taxpayer money to build cheap housing for poor people in richer areas. Under the rules, the federal government would be able to overrule zoning laws of more than 1,200 local governments and force communities to comply.

Not content to redefine consent to mean asking permission before every step of the sexual process, California is now on the path to teaching high school students the proper way to have sex — because human nature is now wrong. To recap: Last year California Gov. Jerry Brown signed a law aiming to redefine consent as an affirmative, conscious, and voluntary agreement, that is ongoing throughout a sexual activity and can be revoked at any time. Saying no to unwanted sexual contact was no longer necessary, as a lack of protest or resistance does not mean consent, nor does silence mean consent. Also, previous sexual history should never by itself be assumed to be an indicator of consent. Alcohol also negates consent, since the line between intoxicated and incapacitated can be decided after the fact by an accuser.
