Try as they might to memory hole their disdain on Thursday for the Trump administration’s reopening guidelines, CNN rallied around them on Tuesday after leaving the White House Coronavirus Task Force briefing in order to spend over 12 minutes engaging in their usual bomb-throwing, partisan gibberish. With Situation Room host Wolf Blitzer at the helm, panelists attacked Dr. Deborah Birx for not lashing out at Governor Brian Kemp (R-GA) for reopening parts of his state’s economy and President Trump for “gaslighting” reporters about supporters protesting these lockdown measures that have put millions at a breaking point.

New York Times reporter Jeremy Peters is still waging attacks on conservatives in the time of coronavirus. He devoted nearly 1,800 words to “A Culture War Is Simmering in Quarantine” to deride conservative protests over oppressive state restrictions, while framing (unlabeled) liberal politicians and activists as founts of sweet reason: "The people at these protests have been overwhelmingly white. And while the coronavirus can strike people of any race, nationality, religion or political persuasion, data shows it is infecting and killing black people in the United States at disproportionately high rates. Its spread also appears to be worsening in some of the states where the protests have taken place."

Every host at The View, save for Meghan McCain, went out of their way to defend Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday’s show, after the Trump campaign came out with an ad showcasing how tone-deaf the Democrats were to hurting Americans during this economic recession. The View’s liberal hosts were outraged by the ad and vigorously defended the House Speaker from the “morons” attacking her. Co-host Sunny Hostin completely dismissed the scathing ad that used Pelosi’s own words as “manufactured outrage” from Fox News.
