Support Israel and Netanyahu's address to Congress
Target Name | Target Organization |
Speaker John Boehner | (Speaker of the House) |
Thanks to an invitation from Speaker of the House John Boehner, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will address a joint session of Congress on March 3rd.
We need to show support for Israel in their time of desperation. They're our only true ally in the Middle East.
Sources following the dialogue between the US and Iran in Geneva are reporting the Obama administration is willing to meet 80% of Iran’s demands – agreeing to a backroom deal that would only hinder Iran's nuclear activities for around 10 years but then slowly ease restrictions on programs that could be used to make atomic arms.
Iran has received billions of dollars in sanctions relief while ignoring the world’s concerns by continuing to develop its nuclear weapons program.
A nuclear Iran will pose the greatest immediate threat to Israel. Iran’s stated mission is to end western civilization, numerous times calling for the destruction of Israel and the United States.
This is why we are asking you to sign our petition in support of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to a joint session of Congress on the threat emanating from Iran’s nuclear program and from radical Islam. It’s time the United States hears a fresh perspective on this threat. A perspective coming from a friend in the region.
Unlike the Obama administration, Speaker Boehner recognizes how serious of a threat a nuclear Iran and radical Islam are to the United States and our allies.
In a statement, Speaker Boehner said: “There is a serious threat that exists in the world… There needs to be a more serious conversation in America about how serious the threat is from radical Islamic jihadists and the threat posed by Iran.”
Meanwhile, the Obama administration is ignoring the perspective coming from our ally Israel. After Boehner’s invitation to Netanyahu, the Obama administration turned a cold shoulder towards Netanyahu. Obama refused to meet with Netanyahu while he is in Washington D.C. There are multiple reports indicating that he also asked Senate and House Democrats to boycott the event. 23 members of US Congress, all Democrats, will not attend the event out of protest. Vice President Joe Biden has “another engagement” to attend.
Let’s join together and send a clear message to Obama that we support Netanyahu’s speech on March 3rd. Sign the petition now!
The Petition
I stand in support of Israel
I stand in support of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s March 3rd address to a joint session of Congress on the threat emanating from Iran’s nuclear program and from radical Islam.
The invitation to Prime Minister Netanyahu shows that the United States stands in solidarity with our closest ally in the region, Israel, to combat fanatical Islamist groups and threats stemming from the hostile Iranian regime.
