Congress has fast tracked a bill called Stop Online Piracy Act. The problem is this bill gives vast powers to Eric Holder to shut down just about any website the government doesn't like.
The government is granting itself and private corporations vast powers to censor the internet without due process of law.
It is the type of totalitarian tactic you expect of China, not the United States.

The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) is a mistake. It gives the Justice department and private corporations the power to censor the internet without due process of law.
SOPA is a threat to the digital economy, information technology workers and the right to free speech.
