Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) is courageously defending unborn children and women in his actions and in his words. Senator Rubio spoke out in defense of unborn children during his response to the President’s State of the Union address, saying: "America is exceptional because we believe that every life, at every stage, is precious."

Senator Rubio is also introducing the Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act (CIANA), which would prohibit knowingly taking a minor across state lines for an abortion to avoid parental involvement laws, and would require abortionists to notify a parent before performing an abortion on an out-of-state minor.
