Jimmy Fallon had a distinct advantage entering the Age of Trump. The former Saturday Night Live star hadn’t cut his teeth with sharp political satire like his peers. We knew him for his wicked Boston accent, a killer Mick Jagger impression and his Everydude charm. It’s partly why NBC chose him to succeed Jay Leno as host of the iconic Tonight Show in 2014.

From Yahoo News: Just 24 percent of those polled said Congress should be allowed to have detailed oversight of the Fed, the poll shows. The poll of 1,388 Americans was conducted from Feb 20-24 to measure whether people supported proposed legislation that would expose the Fed to a full government audit, a move being led by Rand Paul, a likely 2016 presidential candidate. Supporters of the campaign say the Fed needs more transparency and accountability. Opponents say the Fed is already audited, and that exposure of internal policy discussions could lead to political influence over decisions on interest rates and damage market confidence.

Mark Bird, the professor who shot himself in the arm in a university bathroom in protest of President Donald Trump, now says that he actually did it because he wants to ban AR-15s, among other issues. What's the history here? Bird, a 69-year-old emeritus sociology professor at the College of Southern Nevada, shot himself in the arm on the second day of classes at the college. After discovering Bird bleeding outside of a bathroom campus, police said that Bird fired the self-inflicted shot to his arm in protest of Trump and his administration's policies. He had also taped a $100 bill to the bathroom's mirror for the janitor to apparently compensate for the bloody mess he made inside the facility. The president of the school's faculty union issued a statement condemning the way the university handled the incident. “They never really told the students much about it except that it was resolved on the actual ?
