Submitted 8 years ago by ActRight Community

Speaking with Mark Levin on Tuesday, Sen. Ted Cruz (TX) said the American national interest isn’t served by meddling in deeply complex internecine Arab and Muslim conflicts. Invoking the toppling of Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and the subsequent temporary control of the state by the Muslim Brotherhood as a cautionary tale, Cruz warned that President Barack Obama’s stated desire to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad would create a power vacuum likely to be filled by ISIS.
