Holder has been the acting Attorney General since Obama took office. He is under investigation by the House of Representatives for perjury. He is the first sitting member of the Cabinet of the United States to be held in contempt of Congress. His entire tenure has been one of controversy and scandal.
Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona has introduced legislation that calls for Eric Holder's immediate resignation. The legislation already has 122 co-sponsors in Congress.
Holder has intervened to have charges dropped against Black Panthers for intimidating voters outside a polling station. He destroyed or refused to produce for Congress more than 140,000 pages of documents relating to Operation Fast and Furious. He has declined to prosecute financial crimes because he believes some institutions are too big to jail. He signed off on massive and unprecedented intelligence gathering against the press and deliberately misled congress about his involvement.
Eric Holder has grossly violated the public's trust and must resign.

By his actions and with his testimony before Congress, Attorney General Eric Holder has lost my trust and the faith of the American people. Our nation cannot have a chief law enforcement officer whose candor and judgment are in serious question. The president must restore credibility to the office of the attorney general.
