President Joe Biden has nominated a radical hard-core leftist to the US Supreme Court. Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is being pushed by some of the most extreme elements of the Democrat party because they are confident that as a Justice of the US Supreme Court she will work to rewrite our laws and Constitution to reach “progressive” outcomes favored by the left. Judge Jackson lacks the proper judicial philosophy to be on the Supreme Court where our Constitution and laws must be interpreted based on what they actually say, and not based on what an activist judge might believe they should say. Supreme Court justices must be trusted to faithfully apply the text of the Constitution and laws to cases before them, not legislate from the bench.

The Petition

Vote "NO" on confirming Judge Jackson

I am writing to express my opposition to the confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the US Supreme Court. Judge Jackson lacks the appropriate judicial philosophy to fairly judge important cases. Rather than consider issues based on what the Constitution and laws actually say, she holds a “living constitution” philosophy, one where justices feel free to reinterpret, modernize and adjust the Constitution and rewrite laws to suit a progressive worldview. The push behind her nomination to the Supreme Court is coming from some of the most radical elements of the political left because they are confident that she will legislate from the bench to impose the left’s agenda on the country. No nominee should be confirmed to the Supreme Court because of political considerations. Justices of our highest court must have a proven record of judging cases based on applying the text of the Constitution and laws as written, not how they would prefer to see them written. Judge Jackson has only served for a few months on the DC Circuit Court of Appeals and lacks the type of proven record that would warrant the American people’s trust that she will fairly judge cases based on the text of the Constitution and our statutes.

For all these reasons I urge you to oppose the confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the US Supreme Court.
