Folks around the globe are outraged at an Indonesian zoo where a visitor captured a video that showed orangutan smoking a cigarette. The video shot on Sunday quickly went viral after being shared. It has animal rights activists condemning zookeepers for their lack of supervision. The video shows a man tossing his lit cigarette into the 22-year-old Bornean orangutan's enclosure at the Bandung Zoo, about 90 miles southeast of Jakarta. A petition at change.org to "Shut down the Bandung Zoo now!" which was started last year has captured new attention after the orangutan incident and now has nearly 1 million signatures. "Weak control by zoo management also needs to be addressed," Marison Guciano, founder of the Indonesia Animal Welfare Society, told The Jakarta Post. A debate between New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and his opponent actress Cynthia Nixon got very heated as they battled for the Democratic primary nomination in the gubernatorial election. "Can you stop lying?" In one of the more contentious moments, Cuomo demanded Nixon stop interrupting him, whereupon she said she would do so if he stopped lying. "Excuse me, can you stop interrupting," Cuomo exclaimed. "Can you stop lying?," Nixon retorted. "Yeah, as soon as you do," Cuomo responded as laughter erupted from the audience. Nixon, who starred in the HBO series, "Sex in the City," has hit Cuomo from his left, leaving many to believe that he has responded by lurching farther to the fringe. This could explain the bizarre comment he made about America never being great, for which he was bombarded by left and right. His office walked back the comment. Some believe the comment has already knocked Cuomo out of …

On February 12, the Pentagon quietly declassified a top-secret 386-page Department of Defense document from 1987 detailing Israel's nuclear program – the first time Israel’s alleged nuclear program has ever been officially and publically referenced by the U.S. authorities. In the declassified document, the Pentagon reveals supposed details about Israel’s deterrence capabilities, but it kept sections on France, Germany, and Italy classified. Those sections are blacked out in the document.

It has begun. Apple launches several healthcare facilities this spring in Santa Clara County, California, CNBC reports. The primary care group focuses on serving Apple employees — for now. The future is here. CNBC’s report follows the announcement by Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, and JP Morgan of a tech-heavy joint venture to

So, for all the talk about Donald Trump’s weirdness in this election cycle, it turns out that Hillary Clinton and her team are far weirder – the media have simply chosen not to report it. On Friday, Wikileaks spilled an email showing that Clinton campaign chair John Podesta was invited to a “spirit cooking” by Marina Abramovic, along with John’s brother Tony (who is currently under investigation for his firm’s ties to the Russians). As Pardes Seleh reports:

Much philosophical gibberish has been written about the moral responsibility of society to provide medical care to those who can’t afford it (as if society is an individual moral agent). Virtually nothing has been written about the moral responsibility of individuals to not inflict costs on the rest of society because they lack self-control and self-respect.
